About Lower Merion High School:

We are not an ordinary high school.

We are Lower Merion, a storied academic institution and a testament to the importance of world-class public education. A fiercely proud, tight-knit educational community, we have blazed a bold path of innovation and achievement since our doors first opened more than a century ago. We're proud of our reputation for academic excellence and passionate about learning and leading.

Graduates have gone on to provide leadership in nearly every field, serving in myriad capacities: four-star generals, globe-trotting diplomats, elected officials, university presidents, Fortune 500 CEOs, hip-hop legends, Olympic gold-medal winners, poet laureates, stars of screen and stage, best-selling authors, medical pioneers, visionary artists, a U.S. Secretary of State and even a Librarian of Congress.

We are scholars and athletes. Historians and scientists.

Artists and engineers. Thinkers, dreamers and do-ers. We are Lower Merion.
